HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY

No, I'm not posting about Ren and Stimpy. Those little characters always disgusted me, even though it was supposed to be somewhat child-friendly.

I'm actually posting about an award I received from Ash over at "From Ramblings to Interviews." It's a great blog that I follow and I recommend checking it out. On to the award.

I received the Happy 101 Sweet Friends Award. (At least I think that's what it's called. I just chose the largest letters on the award's picture and went with it) ANYWAY, it is given to bloggers that make you happy or are sweet. I'm going to roll with the "makes you happy" concept. The rules state that I have to list 10 things that make me happy, tag the person who originally awarded me, then pass it on. If you followed one of my blog posts about a past award, I stated that I believe passing awards on to many many recipients takes away from the "award" aspect, so I will only choose 2 people to pass it on to.

The following blogs are ones that I frequent and I find myself smiling often from posts, even if I don't always have a chance to comment on them. So, here's who I'm passing the award to:

1. Catwoods
AND, despite his blog title including the words "blogging blues"
2. Bane of Anubis

Beyond that, here are my answers for 10 things that make me happy, in no particular order:

1. Baby Animals
2. Jesus
3. Hostess Products (especially of the chocolate kind)
4. Playing my piano
5. Writing
6. My soon to be wife
7. Income tax returns
8. My blogging community of friends
9. Online MMO Rpg's
10. Science

Congratulations on your sweet award.

BTW, how are you liking The Lightning Thief?

Most of those things make me happy too (I have a husband, not a wife and I have no idea what Online MMO RPG's are). A very happy list indeed.

Congratulations!

Corvedacosta: While I never feel worthy of any kind of award, I still accept and love them :) Thanks for stopping in by the way and for the congrats!

Catherine: Thanks and I just realized I haven't linked you on my side bar yet, even though I visit your site pretty often. I'm going over to do that next.

Natalie: Thanks. As for the MMO Rpg's, that stands for "Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games." I'm semi-addicted to games like World of Warcraft and City of Heroes etc... Currently I play a game called Aion Online. VERY COOL Game based on angels called daeva's.

Lol, do you think your future wife will be happy that she is number 6 on the list after 'baby animals' and 'hostess products'? ;)

Well, I'm hoping that by saying "in random order" I can escape her wrath. :) We'll see when I get home lol.

Void, first off, thanks so much for thinking of me. I make my 13 year old happy as well. Oh wait, maybe not!

I love your list and feel as if you definitely deserve the happy award. I often find myself smiling when I read your posts.

As an aside, it was your humor that brought me to your blog in the first place. Every time I came across a comment of yours on other sites I would giggle.

Congrats and keep up the awesome work!

Most of those things make me happy, too. #3 is not among those things. I had a falling out with Hostess Products when I became a cardiac nurse.
