I don't normally post on weekends, but every now and then I like to be a rebel! So, I just want to leave you guys with this little painting I did. It was my first attempt at painting. I do some drawing, but I'm not quite versed in the painting world.......yet. I've always wanted to try and I finally broke down and bought some supplies.
This is my first piece.

However, from a non-artist's viewpoint...I like it!
Thank you all very much for the kind compliments. I'm going to try a few more paintings and see how they come out, but I'm fairly certain I won't be able to afford this as a regular hobby. :) Painting can be expensive!!
Okay, I could break down and buy all the supplies in the art world and still never be able to dabble up a little picture like that.
