Literary Line Up

Superman, Hulk, Spiderman, Wonder woman, Captain America, Wolverine, Batman... The list goes on and on. The list of unique characters that dominate the comic book scene. Some are good, some are evil, but all of them are unique and impressive in some way or another. The above picture is a climactic point of interest for pretty much all comic junkies, because it draws on speculative fiction and fan fiction and slams them into a series of action packed throw downs that every comic fan wanted to see.

As literary junkies, I wonder what kind of epic tale would YOU weave, if you were to take some of the most amazing or unique literary MC's and pool them together with a bit of plot. What mix of MC's would you like to see breaking their way through one grand novel of an adventure/story?

I.E. Huck Finn and Bilbo Baggins go on a journey which brings them to meet Bella & Edward. I'm not saying Bella or Edward are amazing MC's, nor am I saying they aren't.... Remember everyone has their own opinion. The point it, if you want to bring a cast of various literary MC's together, who would you want in your story?

If I could see any literary mashup, I would love to read one that combines Harry Potter, Nightfall from Mickey Zucker Reichart's Legend of Nightfall, Harry Dresden, and probably Conan the Barbarian.

Why? Because that would be AWESOME.

Hah! Nice. See, that's what I'm talking about. I'd never think of those guys in the same room, let alone a whole novel about em! That's awesome.

Can i say i would love Steven king and Alfred Hitchcock i would love for them to have some sort of meeting in a story since Hitchcock has been dead since 1980, maybe a second choice of Tobe Hooper director of poltergeist and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

So you take it to the next level and use the authors themselves. That could be fun too! I'd definitely throw Zelazny into the mix with Poe and see what craziness ensues.

I'm thinking Katniss from Hunger Games runs into Jace, the MC's love interest from City of Bones. Then Katniss would be like, Peeta who? Gale who? (the love interests in her book)

You dropped by as asked about my WIP the other day, very sweet of you. It's a slow go with the kiddos on spring break for two weeks. Oy vey! Get them back to learing, please!

How about yours? That new position or was it different hours? keeping you from writing? Or Maybe its the wife? *gwOE raises a brow and elbows Void*

Have a good day!

Hum, I might have to give this some thought. I don't think I normally run my mind along these kinds of scenarios. I suppose I would like to see a book with heroes like Kane, John Carter, Conan etc all together.

I want Wolverine with Belle (from Beauty and the Beast.) Maybe it's because I love Wolverine and think of myself as a Belle (a book worm).

Hmm.I'm afraid it's always been Luke Skywalker, and probably always will be. And yes, I've read the books.
